As the National Reference Laboratory, RITM is continuously providing technical support in the form of laboratory assessments, technical training and provision of proficiency testing panels for Real-Time PCR detection of SARS-CoV-2
The training is comprised of lectures and hands-on laboratory work on Real-time PCR detection of SARS-CoV-2. This course is designed for the laboratory staff who are tasked to perform molecular detection of SARS-CoV-2 by Real-Time PCR in their respective institutions.
Topics
- Relevant Epidemiology and Virology of SARS-CoV-2
- Laboratory Workflow for the Molecular Detection of SARS-CoV-2
- Real-Time PCR: Analysis, Interpretation and Quality Control
- Real-Time PCR: Troubleshooting
- Quality Assurance for PCR laboratories
- Laboratory demonstrations and hands-on on:
