Rationale/ Background
This course is designed to assist health research professionals in coming up with a proposal and/or protocol for their chosen research topic that is ready for submission to funding agencies and ethical review committees. It focuses on the process of writing the various sections of a grant proposal and developing a detailed protocol. An adult learning approach is utilized and trainees are provided the opportunity to consult with mentors (ratio 2:1).

The expected output of this training is a scientific manuscript / article ready for submission to journals.

Participant’s Profile
The training is intended to train junior staff of research that is in the final phase of their research work, i.e. at the least in the data analysis part or developing a manuscript for publication.

Fully accomplished and signed Application Form
A copy of the concept paper or draft with a working title and preliminary objectives.
