
The Sorok Uni Foundation Inc., in partnership with the RITM Dermatology Department, conducted a medical mission and leprosy awareness program in Pandacan, Manila on May 07, 2022.
Together with various agencies, RITM Dermatologists provided free medical care, check-up, and consultation to 294 members of the community and served as resource persons during the seminar on leprosy.
This partnership is aligned with the RITM Dermatology Department’s mission to empower the people who are affected with leprosy and social stigma, and their families through the conduct of awareness campaigns, seminars, and medical missions.

Sorok Uni Foundation, Inc. is a non-government organization working for and with persons affected with leprosy, homeless and displaced families, underprivileged children, and disadvantaged Indigenous People in the country.
Independently, the RITM Dermatology Department holds 2-3 medical missions annually. Aside from medical missions, the Department also conducts leprosy workshops twice a year for medical doctors and other healthcare workers regarding the presentation, treatment, and management of leprosy
