I am a young and inquisitive medical technologist that currently embarks on research about emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases. I am presently doing a study that aims to determine the biovar, toxigenicity, and antimicrobial resistance of Corynebacterium diphtheriae. Moreover, to support the national welfare in response to the pandemic, I also took part in the RITM COVID-19 saliva study and co-infection research in the hope of aiding public health officials and policymakers in developing guidelines to help improve the health of our community.
