After I graduated, I was accepted at Research Institute for Tropical Medicine Microbiology department as part of training committee. Aside from being a training facilitator I was also exposed in doing routine laboratory works and being involved in research activities. Being involved in a research is more than just gaining experience or improving resume. Not only does working in research gives you the opportunity to work with mentor and lab groups that serves as a counselor and friends outside of lab, research also provides the opportunity to develop something that can make a difference in people’s lives.
