C. Eures Iyar G. Lazaro-Oasin is a registered Medical Technologist who graduated from the University of Santo Tomas in 2007 and has been working in the field since then. She started working in diagnostic laboratories from 2007 up to 2011, after which, she started working for the Department of Health (DOH) under the Global Fund HIV Project, as well as, clinical trials for vaccines at the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM). Currently, she is working in the Department of Virology at RITM as a Science Research Specialist II of the National Reference Laboratory for Rotavirus and other Enteric Diseases. Her tasks include serological and molecular testing of samples, outbreak response, research involvements and participation in the Events Team, Quality Circle Team and Research Committee of the department.
