With the first batch attended by 42 BOQ regional officers, the training aims to assist BOQ in ensuring efficient delivery of its mandate which is to regulate importation and exportation of materials for clinical research and related purposes.

The RITM-BRMO consists of committee members and biosafety officers who are certified biosafety professionals and International Air Transport Association (IATA) certified trainers.
